August 2004 the Wynberg clinic moved to a homely new premises at 54 Broad Road, Wynberg. Medical practitioners and hospitals are increasing referring their patients to Lukhanyo for specialised, professional assessments and treatment. Lukhanyo is currently operating from 3 premises: the head-quarters in Wynberg, Lukhanyo Health Centre at 42 Plein Street, Eerste River and at the new Promenade Mall (Mitchell's Plain). PARTNERSHIP WITH THE STATE
The community in the Western Cape faces the virtually impossible task of
coping with the effects of substance
abuse, which Lukhanyo could not overlook. It offered its professional
Kensington Treatment Centre (2009) and Westrn Cape Youth Rehabilitation Centre (2010), Both institutions offer sleep-in rehabilitation facilities at no cost to the patients. |
