Forensic evaluations & Treatment

	The Clinic has added expertise in the forensic evaluation of both criminal and civil cases,

• Our  social workers are experienced in the field of mental health and offer the following specialist services:

• support work for coping with mental health problems and mental illness

• psych-social education in managing mental health and mental illness in the community

• forensic assessments and management (psycho-social, legal assessments with families of victims and perpetrators

• needs assessment and management in industrial   settings

Open Attitude to health service

	The Clinic maintains an "open" attitude to health services and
	welcomes the inclusion of aroma therapists and other allied health workers into its programme.

Our highly skilled teams at the rehabilitation centres for patients of substance abuse

• include psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers and medical healthcare workers
•  currently provide a fulltime rehab service in partnership with the South African Department of Social Development:

       1.  Kensington Treatment Centre: an in-patient, 8-week rehab  hospital for adults with an additional out-patient  (follow-up) facility after discharge.

2.  Western Cape Youth Rehab Centre (Eerste River) offers educational backup for students.

• offer a comprehensive rehabilitation programme, including life skills training to ensure a total and complete rehabilitation and adjustment to society.
• the out-patient facilities reinforce the values acquired after release.

Our popular group therapy sessions

• The programme is aimed at patients unable to cope with their immediate environment, either at an interpersonal, an occupational or at a psychological level.  Whether this inability is caused by depression or triggered by a family crisis or traumatic event, the objective is to restore the patient to an optimal level of function. 

•  In the treatment process, we aim to provide the patient with critical essentials.
