Western Cape opens new multi-million rand treatment centre for victims of substance abuse (KENSINGTON TREATMENT CENTRE)
In April 2009 the out-going Premier for the Western Cape, Ms Lynn Brown handed over a new treatment facility for victims of substance abuse to the CEO of Lukhanyo Clinic to provide the services, following its successful tender bid. Dr Ashraf Jedaar, officially admitted the first patients in June and to-date (Dec.2009) the staff tearfully said farewell to their 120th patient, confident that they are ready to return to their families.
