New Free treatment & rehab centre now open in Maitland, Cape Town run by fully trained healthcare workers.

 

Our programme subscribes to international standards:

  • Sleep-in and further out-patient facilities
  • Food (halaal) and medication (if required)
  • Life-skills training
  • Individual and family counselling

                 WESTERN CAPE YOUTH REHABILITATION CENTRE EERSTE RIVER

  • The Western Cape Youth Rehabilitation Centre was launched on 16 June 2010 by Premier Helen Zille. It is managed by Lukhanyo Clinic, who entered into a Public Private Partnership with the Department of Social Development.

  • The centre accommodates 20 girls and 20 boys between the ages of 13-18 years who are substance dependent.

  • The in-patient programme runs over a period of 8 weeks, while the the aftercare is over a period of 6 months.

  • The gratis treatment programme is sponsored by the Department of Social Development.  However, families will be required to deposit R20 on admission for damage / replacement of keys. This will be refunded on discharge.  Families may deposit money for luxuries which will be bought on the patient's behalf.
